1-Why did you choose to sell on Etsy/ and do you sell anywhere else?
I accidentally found Etsy while surfing the internet, thinking of possibly starting my own website to sell my own handmade things. This task seemed so daunting & I had no idea how to begin. But when I found Etsy, I was so excited about the community of people with the same passion I had. It was a perfect fit!
Some of my items are also for sale on other websites, & more recently, my book art is being sold at the Bellevue Art Museum!!

2- What is your fave thing to buy on Etsy (whether it be supplies or gifts etc.)
I love finding gifts on Etsy. It makes me feel all warm & fuzzy buying items for the people I love knowing they'll be unique & lovely & handmade. It also makes me feel good to buy supplies on Etsy---knowing I could obviously go to other online retailers---but wanting to support my Etsy peeps.

3-What is your current fave product and seller(not in your store) under 20$?
My newest favorite seller is
knock knocking. I love all her happy creations. Her adorable little boutonniere's are under $20 & so sweet!! Her blog is always full of inspiration too.

4- Any advice for new sellers?
I would say to make sure you have excellent photos! You always hear this on Etsy, & it is so true. This opens up lots of potential to be featured in treasuries, which could lead to front page exposure. But also: if you have nice, clear, interesting photos, you're more likely to be featured on other people's blogs, etc. And all that exposure is great for your shop & sales!

5-And a favorite quote?
This is a new favorite quote of mine:
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."--Mark Twain
