1. Why did you choose to sell on Etsy and do you sell anywhere else?
I chose to sell on etsy because it's a beautiful place. Etsy is known for handmade items and people who visit Etsy are looking for just that. They appreciate the work that it takes and they are willing to pay a little extra for something special - something you can't get in a store.
I don't sell anywhere else. I have sold in boutiques in the past, but I live in a small farming town. Garland isn't for practical people. So Etsy is my place to be.
2. What is your fave thing to buy on Etsy (whether it be supplies or gifts etc.)I love to buy from other sellers. Most of the time it's for gift giving. But I will buy for myself and my family. It is my go to place for many items. I love original products.
3. What is your current fave product(not in your store) under 20$?This is really too hard of a question for me! :) But I'll pick: swarovski crystal sun-catchers They are pretty and make rainbows in my house...so much beauty. I do like other shop's garlands - most of the time I like theirs more than mine! I also love anything with hummingbirds and butterflies. I love hearts and ornaments and I love snowflakes and oh yes, pug dogs too...so pretty much anything with these things...I LOVE!
4. Any advice for new sellers?
Research and don't get discouraged. Etsy gives you so much advice as to how to run your shop - take it!!
5. And a favorite quote?
Victor Hugo quote - Life is the flower for which love is the honey.

What I bought....on Cyber Monday
I didn't go to crazy. Its hard to gift shop for other people and not for yourself. Tell me I'm not the only one...anyway heres what I bought.
The seller was CjBlue
My total for both with shipping was 6.75. I'm happy with the purchases. I love trying new things and not spending a ton. Anyone else buy anything fun?

1. Why did you choose to sell on Etsy and do you sell anywhere else?
I chose to sell on Etsy because I loved shopping on Etsy! I like to shop handmade when possible, and from small businesses when I can. The fact that Etsy reaches a worldwide audience was a plus!
2. What is your fave thing to buy on Etsy (whether it be supplies or gifts etc.)
I love to buy gifts… for pretty much everyone. I love buying vintage and hard to find items as well. I think Etsy gift cards are going to be my new “go-to gift”.
3. What is your current fave product(not in your store) under 20$?
I have a small obsession with washi tape. I have to be honest though… I’ve never used it on or for anything. I just think it looks so darn cute!
4. Any advice for new sellers?
My advice for new sellers is to be patient and to do lots of research. Success won’t come overnight, but with the right attitude, focus and determination, it will come.
5. And a favorite quote?
I have so many favorite quotes. One of them is by Dave Ramsey…”It’s ok to make mistakes, just don’t make the same one twice.”

1. Why did you choose to sell on Etsy and do you sell anywhere else?
I love Etsy!! To be honest I am not sure how I discovered Etsy but I love how broad the reach is. The site is very user friendly and provides worldwide access!
2. What is your fave thing to buy on Etsy (whether it be supplies or gifts etc.)
I recently purchased some clothing for myself! That was fun!
I probably buy mostly patterns or embroidery designs.
3. What is your current fave product(not in your store) under 20$?
EMBROIDERY BLANKS!! Where were these all my life? Some things I really like the personal touch of making it myself (blankets, clothing and custom cases) but for things like insulated bags or purses, well lets face it, I am not going to make it as well as a larger production company can and for the same low price!
4. Any advice for new sellers?
I am not sure what I would say to the "hard core" sellers out there. I work a 9-5 job and still have my shop on the side. I think the most important thing (and it's what I am currently working on myself) is to keep it fun! I don't want making things for sale to become like a job! I want the joy that I have while making something to come through in the finished projectl
5. And a favorite quote?
"I know the plans I have for you", declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
